Concessionary Rates (available on application)

Concessionary rates are available to:

• Members, in certain categories of Fellowship & Membership, who wish to opt out of receiving print copies of The Journal
• Members working part-time
• Members who are on maternity leave

Reduction in annual subscription for opting out of receipt of print copies of The Journal

Members in certain categories of Fellowship and Membership have the option, on application, to reduce their annual subscription by opting out of receiving print copies of The Journal.  Those opting out of receipt of the print copy can access The Journal on the College website and, to comply with governance rules, all members will continue to receive written notification of elections and subscription fees.

Those entitled to apply for a reduction, and the rates of reduction, are as follows:

• All UK Fellows completely retired from remunerative medical practice – reduction of £20 per annum
• All Overseas Fellows completely retired from remunerative medical practice – reduction of £20 per annum
• All UK Collegiate Members and Associates completely retired from remunerative medical practice – reduction of £30  per annum
• All Overseas Collegiate Members and Associates– reduction of £20 per annum (reduction of £30 for those completely retired from remunerative medical practice)

Concessionary rate for members working part-time

A 50% discount will be applied to the base subscription (or base subscription less opt-out discount) at the discretion of the Treasurer to members normally working less than half time.  This will be reviewed on an annual basis.  Discounts will be awarded from the subscription due date following application and will be considered on application in writing or by e-mail to:

A 50% discount will be applied to the base subscription (or base subscription less opt-out discount) due after the maternity leave period starts and is for one year only.  Discounts will be awarded from the subscription due date following application and will be considered on application in writing or by e-mail to:
