SHAAP: drinks industry urged to adopt more responsible business practices

Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP), of which the RCPE is a founding member, is today urging the alcohol industry in Scotland to abandon its opposition to minimum pricing. In parallel, SHAAP will be holding an event and publishing a new public health report highlighting the increasing commonality of tactics used by the alcohol, drinks and food industries to oppose progressive public health measures.

Teaching Prize for University of Edinburgh/RCPE Internal Medicine MSc Lecturer

Congratulations to Dr Eleri Williams, who last night was awarded the Edinburgh University's Students' Association teaching prize for Medicine 2013 for her work on the Internal Medicine MSc programme. 

The programme is run jointly by the University of Edinburgh and RCPE and is in its second year.
