College News - September 201122 September 2011 RCPE COMMENT ON SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT BUDGETFollowing the publication of the Scottish Government's budget, Dr Neil Dewhurst, President of the RCPE, said, "The Scottish Government's ongoing commitment to health is strongly welcomed at a time of intense pressure on public sector budgets. In particular, we are very supportive of the Scottish Government's continuing commitment to public health, including minimum pricing, and the increasing emphasis on the quality of patient care through the Quality Strategy."
