GMC Licensing DeadlineLicensing of doctors will begin on 16 Novermber 2009 and from this date all doctors will, by law, need to hold both registration and a license if wishing to practice medicine in the UK. Doctors have until 14 August 2009 to make their decision regarding licensing. MHRA Swine Flu Adverse Drug Reactions PortalThe Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is an executive agency of the Department of Health and is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices in the UK work and are acceptably safe. The MHRA collects information on suspected side effects from healthcare professionals and members of the public via its national reporting system the Yellow Card Scheme. However, the MHRA has asked the RCPE to advise Fellows and Members and other visitors to the RCPE website that, as of today, there is a separate system in place for reporting suspected side effects to Tamiflu and Relenza
