Getting Started

The process begins with either:

  • A Consultant contacting RCPE with a vacant training post and an IMG they would like to recruit
  • A Consultant contacting RCPE with a vacant training post but no Overseas Trainee
  • Overseas Trainee contacting RCPE to express interest and find out about any appropriate vacant training posts available.

Where possible, RCPE will match up IMGs with suitable vacant training posts.

How long is the process?

The sponsorship process can easily take at least 3 months and we would strongly advise that all parties involved take time to read the Information and Guidance notes before applying.
